Moby Dick

I believe, as others before me, that Moby Dick is probably the greatest contribution to world literature that America ever came up with. At the Whaling Museum in New Bedford, Massachusetts right now is a show of contemporary visual artists all channeling the preeminent novel by Herman Melville through their own craft. We were there a couple of weeks back and were really blown away by the collection. I can’t get some of those works out of my mind.
