If California is a church, and it most certainly is, Tuleyome is the alter. A gilded, jeweled landscape at the heart of the larger, sacred narrative. A thin slice of the Golden State, extending across a long swath of topography and five thousand vertical feet. Tuleyome, Lake Miwok for <Deep Home Place> where the heart takes root,  defines a large area, an ancient territory, now known as the Blue Ridge Berryessa Natural Area.
